Trade Execution Terms
Last updated: 20 July 2026
By using PecuDesk's trade execution features, you acknowledge that all orders are placed through your own broker account. PecuDesk does not hold client funds, act as a broker, or guarantee order execution or fill prices.
1. No Investment Advice
PecuDesk provides market intelligence, analytical tools, and trade execution functionality. PecuDesk does not provide personalized investment advice, financial advice, trading recommendations, or portfolio management services. Any market analysis, signals, insights, or information provided by PecuDesk are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for evaluating and making your own trading decisions.
2. Broker Integration & Authorization
PecuDesk connects to your brokerage account at any broker listed on the Platform using API credentials you provide. You are responsible for ensuring your account is properly configured and funded. PecuDesk applies commercially reasonable security measures to protect API credentials and uses them solely for authorized platform functionality. By enabling trade execution, you authorize PecuDesk to transmit orders to your connected broker account according to the instructions, configurations, and permissions you have established within the Platform.
3. Order Execution
Orders submitted through PecuDesk are transmitted to your broker for execution. PecuDesk does not guarantee that any order will be filled, filled at a specific price, or executed within a specific timeframe. Market orders may experience slippage, and limit/stop orders may not be filled if the market does not reach the specified price.
4. Automated Analysis Disclaimer
PecuDesk may use automated systems, algorithms, and artificial intelligence technologies to analyze market data and generate insights. Such analysis may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Automated analysis does not guarantee trading outcomes, profitability, or the accuracy of market predictions.
5. Risk Settings
PecuDesk provides configurable risk controls including maximum order size, daily trading limits, and position limits. You are responsible for configuring these limits appropriately for your risk tolerance and account size. Risk controls are provided as a convenience and do not guarantee protection against losses.
6. Paper vs Live Trading
PecuDesk supports both paper (practice) and live trading environments. Paper trading uses simulated funds provided by your broker's practice account, so no real money is at risk. Live trading involves real funds and real market risk. Ensure you understand which environment you are connected to before placing orders.
7. Third-Party Dependencies
PecuDesk relies on third-party brokers, market data providers, exchanges, and technology providers. PecuDesk is not responsible for interruptions, delays, inaccurate data, restrictions, or failures caused by third-party services.
8. Limitation of Liability
PecuDesk shall not be liable for any losses arising from order execution, including but not limited to: slippage, partial fills, rejected orders, broker downtime, API errors, network connectivity issues, or incorrect order parameters. You acknowledge that trading involves substantial risk of loss and that past performance does not guarantee future results.
